CAD! is a table-talk-heavy card game for 3–6 players with hidden roles, played using a standard 52-card deck and a small supply of tokens.
Players secretly become Loners, Normies, or Cads, each pursuing a different target number of tokens by the end of the game. Everyone begins with one token and a hand of cards.
Over six rounds, all players simultaneously choose and reveal a card. The highest card wins the round and moves one token from any player to any other player. Because only six token moves occur during the game, every decision reshapes a small closed token economy in which a single move can help one player while disrupting several others. Discussion, negotiation, accusations, promises and bluffing are unrestricted throughout play, but players are never required to tell the truth.
At the end of the game, players reveal their secret roles and qualify by matching their role’s target number of tokens. If one or more players qualify, the highest remaining card among those players wins. If nobody qualifies, the highest remaining card wins regardless of role.
