Campfire contains two decks of beautiful playing cards and a rule book detailing how to play our family's version of Rummy, enjoyed countless nights around the campfire in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
Campfire is played over 12 rounds. In each round the players try to make a set of at least three and/or a run of at least 4. In round one each play is dealt 3 cards, in each subsequent round players are dealt 1 more card. The first player in each round to use all the cards in their hand lays them down face up and calls "Campfire". Each other player then has one turn to try to use as many cards as possible. All players then move on to the next round.
A Score sheet is provided and a C is used to denote a Campfire. All other players sum the value of the cards left in their hand (1-9 face value, 10 through King = 10, Ace = 15). A 0 is possible as only one person in each round can Campfire.
At the end of 12 rounds, the each player totals their points and the player with the least points wins. Ties are broken by the most Campfires.
