Complementary Produce is a pocket-sized spin on a classic trick-taking game.
Each player is dealt 5 cards. Play one or multiple cards face up in front of you and have the highest shown number to win the hand. Cards can be combined to create a higher number if they are the same color or complementary colors. win a round by having won the most hands or tying for the most hands won. Play to a mutually agreed upon final score.
Easy to learn, but hard to master. Know when to combine your cards or risk running out of cards while others still have more to play.
For children, the cards can be used for early learning like numbers, colors, produce, etc. As children grow, they can learn matching exercises, sorting things by category, addition, subtraction, or complementary colors.
