Fox Flip is a quick, easy-to-learn 2-player game of skill, luck, and timely flips. Draw cards, grow the center pile, and play special fox cards to outfox your opponent and win the pile!
To start, deal 7 cards to each player. The player opposite the dealer goes first. Alternate turns playing cards of equal or greater value, or by following the Fox card rules.
At some point, someone won't be able to play. When that happens, you have one chance to stay in the game by flipping the top card of the deck onto the play pile. Flipping a card acts as your turn. If the flipped card satisfies the current rule in play, you survived and normal play resumes starting with the other player. If the flipped card doesn't satisfy the current rule in play, the other player wins the pile.
Once a pile is won, alternate turns drawing 1 card per turn up to a maximum of 7 cards. Once a player has 7 cards, they must play a card on their next turn, which restarts the play phase.
Continue playing until the deck is empty and all cards have been won.
When all cards have been won, count your cards. 1 card = 1 point. The first player to 100 points wins. A typical game of Fox Flip takes 3-4 rounds.
