In the Night Sky

In this 2-6 player card shedding game, players take on the role of astronomers competing for grant money by publishing studies and gaining noteriaty in the world of academic astronomy. They do this by playing cards from their hand that either match the planet types or add up to 7, using combos and emptying their hand of cards.

Players start with a hand of cards. There are 8 suits of value 0-6 and a wild suit of 1-6. There is a discard pile with a card face up. On a player's turn, they will either play a card from their hand or draw a card to their hand. In order to play a card, they must be able to match the suit OR have the value of the card they play add with the discard card value to equal exactly 7. If they match the suit AND add to 7, they get a noteriaty token (points) and can discard a bonus card of any type. They can combo multiple times for extra points and if they are the first to get rid of all their cards, they get a published study (3 points). First player to 15 points wins the game!
