ONE SHOT is a party game for 4–10 players combining word guessing with betting.
Each round begins with the Guesser drawing a word card and selecting a number, which reveals the secret word to all other players. The Predictors then write their hints on whiteboards and place them in the corresponding stalls on a first-come, first-served basis, along with the required coin bets. Alternatively, players may skip giving hints and instead place bets on the likely outcome of the round.
The Guesser reveals hints in order, earning one guess per board with decreasing coin rewards for correct answers.
Correct bets pay out, incorrect ones feed the Jackpot.
Guessing correctly from the Jackpot stall splits the pot with that hint writer; a Burst rewards those who bet on failure with all wagered coins. After each player has been Guesser twice, the richest player wins.
