Uglylicious

Uglylicious is a fast-paced, competitive card game set in a delightfully chaotic flea market where players become collectors of items that are… let’s say, “full of character.” One minute you’re admiring a vintage lamp, the next you’re fighting over a garden gnome like it’s priceless art. With eager customers and even eagier rivals, you’ll need sharp reflexes and a strong tolerance for questionable taste to come out on top.

Players take turns flipping cards onto a central pile, building a tempting stack of potential treasures and terrible decisions. At any moment, anyone can slap the pile to grab cards—but timing is everything. Jump too early and you’ll look ridiculous (and possibly get penalized); wait too long and someone else walks away with your dream collection of slightly cursed knick-knacks.

The cards you collect form your personal hoard, mixing valuable objects with absolute chaos. Some cards reward you with points, others push you to collect sets, and a few exist purely to ruin your day—like grumpy customers, kleptomaniac gnome thieves, or cats with a personal vendetta against your inventory. Luckily, a loyal dog might help you fend off disaster, because nothing says “professional vendor” like relying on a big slobbery bodyguard.

When the cards run out, players count up their points to see who built the most impressive (or least disastrous) collection. Victory goes to the quickest, cleverest, and possibly luckiest player—proving once and for all that beauty is in the eye of the beholder… especially when you grabbed it first.
