In ancient Greece, the winners of the games dedicated to Zeus were worshipped as demigods and their deeds were recounted as legends. The players are athletes competing in the decathlon. Whoever has the most points at the end of the game will win fame and glory and the title of Zeus Junior.

Place the 10 discipline cards face up in a row in the middle of the table in random order; they also serve as the score track. Shuffle the strength cards and place 2 random strength cards underneath each discipline card, face up, overlapped so that they are all visible.

Training
The players draft strength cards until each player has 12 strength cards face up on the table in front of them, sorted by colour.

Competition
The 10 disciplines that make up the competition are tackled one by one, from left to right. Each player scores 1 point per strength card in front of them that matches the colour(s) under the current discipline card. Move your wreath card along the score track accordingly. If the discipline requires 2 different colours, add the number of strength cards of the 2 colours together.

Effort
Before tackling the next discipline, each player discards 1 strength card of their choice from the table in front of them (not necessarily one of the strength cards just counted) on a discard pile. Then turn over the discipline card just tackled and proceed to the next discipline.

The game continues in this way, alternating between the competition and effort phases. Each subsequent discipline is tackled with fewer strength cards. After playing the tenth and final discipline with only the three remaining strength cards, the game ends. The player with the most points is the winner.
