God Shards: Graveyard is a competitive tile-laying strategy game for 2-6 players set in a haunted graveyard where fragments of ancient divine power have emerged. Players take on the role of classic monsters, including vampires, demons, zombies, skeletons and other creatures of legend, each seaking to claim the mysterious God Shards and harness their immense power. As the graveyard expands through player-placed tiles, new opportunities, dangers, and strategic pathways continually emerge.
Throughout the game, players explore the growing graveyard, uncover locations, collect souls and valuable God Shards, and use their monster's unique abilities to outmaneuver opponents. Every tile placement shapes the battlefield, forcing players to adapt their plans while competing for resources. Direct player interaction is a constant threat, as rival monsters challenge one another, steal equipment, and disrupt your plans and strategies. Also beware the grave, because it also fights back against the players and their plans as well.
Victory can be achieved in multiple ways, giving players flexibility in how they pursue success. Some may try to assemble all of their God Shards and Ascend to Godhood, while others may take a more aggressive path by destroying all of their rivals once inside the temple. Balancing exploration, tactics, resource management and confrontation is essential, as each decision can bring a player closer to ultimate control and Godhood.
