Quests of Drakana is a tactical adventure game for 1–5 players, playable in 45 to 90 minutes, that recreates the progression of a classic JRPG in a single sitting. Players explore the modular land of Eldoria, complete quests, fight monsters, and grow their hero's power before facing the mighty Drakana in a final showdown. The game supports cooperative, competitive, 2v2, and solo modes. A Story mode campaign where each completed adventure unlocks a new box containing the next chapter, new components, and new mechanics.

Each game lasts 6 to 10 rounds, during which players move across a modular board using movement dice, encountering merchants, monsters, mid-bosses, and treasures along the way. Combat is turn-based and tactical, requiring players to manage timing, abilities, and resources while rolling D4, D6, or D10 dice depending on their equipment and powers. A random event triggers each round, forcing players to adapt their strategy, while personal side quests give each hero an individual objective that changes from game to game. Equipment is double-sided: defeating monsters or visiting a blacksmith flips gear to its upgraded level-2 side, unlocking new abilities .

The game features blind item-pouch drawing, where players reach into bags to identify potions and gear by touch, and a double-layered Hero board that tracks health, experience, and stores unlocked powers, trophies, and equipment directly in molded slots. Backpack space is limited, forcing players to make inventory trade-offs between gear, potions, and gold. The modular, reversible world board evolves as players defeat mid-bosses or complete objectives, physically flipping mini-boards to reveal new areas.

Set in the land of Eldoria, the story follows five heroes — Brann, Freja, Edwin, Misty, and ??? — who converge on the village of Cocoroki for the Tournament of Heroes, unaware that their journeys will awaken old legends tied to Drakana and an ancient war between the Skies and the Dragons . All artwork is illustrated by human artists (no AI-generated art), blending retro pixel art with JRPG, webtoon, and manga influences. The game has been playtested in over 500 sessions and has won awards at the LudiQuest Festival (France) and the Ardent Ludik Festival (Belgium).
