Spy Team is a 2-versus-2 team trick-taking game for four players. Two elite spy teams, C.A.T. and B.I.R.D., compete to prove themselves through a series of missions. Each team must rely on trust and coordination—but partners are not allowed to discuss their plans during the game.
At the start of each round, players receive a hand of cards that cannot be rearranged. Cards may only be played from either end of your hand, and while the backs reveal each card’s color, its number remains hidden from the other players. Players take turns playing cards to tricks, trying to coordinate with their partner while anticipating the opposing team’s intentions. Each mission requires the two teammates to win a specific combination of tricks, such as 1 and 5, 2 and 4, or 3 and 3.
A round ends as soon as a team completes its current mission—or successfully prevents the opposing team from completing theirs. Complete all three of your team’s missions before your rivals do, and your team wins the game.
