In Truffle Snuffle, players move their truffle pigs around a woodland path by remembering the locations of hidden acorn tiles beneath piles of leaves. Landing on the right spaces allows them to collect valuable truffles. The first player to gather a complete set of four different truffle tiles wins.
At the center of the board, acorn tiles are hidden beneath movable leaf piles. On a turn, a player relocates one leaf pile, reveals an acorn tile, and moves their truffle pig according to the number of acorns shown. Depending on where the pig lands, players may:
- collect a truffle tile from a nearby oak tree,
- take an additional turn, or
- end their turn without effect.
To win the standard game, a player must collect four different truffle tiles, one featuring each gold-dot value from 1 to 4.
The game also includes advanced variants that introduce hidden truffle collection, scoring by gold points, and additional memory challenges through rearranging the leaf piles.
