Welcome to the magical world of Mushroom Shepherds! These mysterious creatures, guardians of the forest, have an ancient mission: to care for and guide the mushrooms in order to preserve the life of the undergrowth.

In Under Forest, you are a Mushroom Shepherd with a secret mission assigned to you by an Objective Card. Your goal is to build the forest on the table while completing as many of the three missions on your secret card as possible. On your turn, you take one of the two tiles available in the “Seedbed.” Then, you place that tile next to another already in play, deciding whether it will be placed face up as a Mushroom or face down as a Xilaria. Special tiles with the “⟳” symbol force you to flip an adjacent tile. At the end of your turn, the Seedbed is replenished. The game ends when the bag is empty. The player with the most points from completed missions wins!
