Become a haenyeo, the free-diving women of Jeju Island, and explore the depths of the sea to gather valuable marine life while helping protect the ocean.
In Haenyeo: Sea Divers of Jeju, players secretly choose Dive Cards to determine how deep their divers will descend each round. Careful planning is essential, as actions can only be performed when divers remain connected to the surface through a chain of placements. Dive deeper to collect rarer resources and pearls, but risk losing your connection if gaps appear.
Over 8 rounds, players compete to collect marine life, manage their resources, and clean up ocean pollution. Eggs can be spent to gain additional divers or exchange for valuable items, while collected trash contributes to end-game scoring in unique ways.
With its simultaneous card selection, spatial positioning, and resource management, the game offers a mix of strategic planning and tactical decision-making. The player who best balances diving efficiency, resource collection, and environmental care will earn the highest score and win.
